YES YES! I saw the CPU mod (cutting pins and using as2 to draw traces, but i didn't want to mod the CPU. This is EXACTLY what i was looking for.

On my BE6-2, my beloved celeron 566 just died. Now i need a replacement. The highers FCPGA celeron i found was a 950, which isn't bad. However, i really really really want an tualatin celeron a (the a's are pretty much the same thing as pentiums, same ammnt of cache). My board is not tualtain...

Can you swap motherboards and return it to Frys?

If you bought it with a credit or debt card, you may be able to get your purchase tranced and have another recipt issued so you can return it. NM, saw the post above. Sorry. Chances are it will work, but the consequence of if it doesnt is very very dire.

MTV and Rap Videos

A few years ago, there was not a rock video in sight. Hell, there was baerly a video in sight. Now, theres still 95% barely music related crap, but the 5% of videos are all rap. Unfortunately, i dont get Much Music or the BOX or any music channel, so i am generally skrewed. I cant take this...

Is DVI limited to 1280x1024? And if so, why?

Simply put, NO. Most LCD's only support up to 1024 natively. Some will support higher, but i dont believe there is practical limit to the DVI's possible resolution. Its probably the monitor that is the limiting factor.

Is there a way to know what mobo this system got's??

More important than the make and model of the board, i would say that the chipset is more important. Also, i dont think NEC uses propritary connectors, so just think of it as a bare OEM board.
