printer/MFC drum counter reset

Brother MFC-6800. I just searched a bit furhter and got the info regarding my question. Some of the drums had a red light (empty warning light) even if it still can be used. Then, the resetting the counter works. But, if it is empty, or near empty I should buy a new drum. Please verify if...

I adjusted the setting at Bios. As expected the secondary devices of IDE controller had been off. So, I just changed to Auto. Reboot and now I can see UDMA mode at all devices in IDE controller. Thank you for your great help.
