how much can i expect from my i7 960 ES?

hello all, i have a new i7 960 Engineering Sample cpu how much can i expect from that new cpu in oc? (frequency and voltage) is someone have the same cpu? thanks

try to oc more your cpu & less your gpu you will lost a lot of bucks if you fry your gpu (six months later for my 7800GTX)

i have 4.1Ghz with 1.36 vCore on air. i dont know yet whats exactly the temp in full load but nevertheless i will get soon a good watercooling to try maybe a little more

i7 920 overclock settings

its look like the noctua nh-u12P se1366, maybe a little more efficient. under 70°C @ 3.8, it does a good job i wonder if my noctua with a dual 120mm fan will do a better job face of your thermalright...

hello, a little hardware question i have a Asus Rampage 2 Extreme motherboard which contains 3 pci-e slots 16x-16x-??x i have 2 pci-e slots used by 2 gtx280 graphic cards in SLI is it possible to have in the third pci-e slot an adaptec 5405 8x to do raid 5 with 3 ou 4 hard disks...

P4 2.8 OC - Tested @ 3.9, Booted @ 4.3 - using Liquid Nitrogen @ -192 degrees!!

Tecnically can DDR-II compete with Rambus ?

i don't think we are at the end of RDRAM & DDR. to improve memory performances you need to increase the memory bus or the memory frequency. 32bits 533Mhz RDRAM single channel is coming out. 4.2GB/s bandwith. dual channel will involve 8.4GB/s. by now Samsung works on 600 & 660Mhz memory. DDR II...
