Thanks for the advice..... I opened the case, and the drive slides out on one side; the circuitry is on the other side, but what i did was first hook up the drive via a sata-usb cable, and i heard the drive spinning, and my laptop detected it, and yep, all the files were there. Upon inspection...

So I get home today and I see my external drive (Western Digital Elements 640GB USB 2.0) is not working. I noticed the power light is not on, so I make sure the electric outlet is working, and then I noticed that power supply to the external drive looks like the power supply to my toshiba...

Hello everyone.... I have a file that whenever I try to delete it, it tells me that is being used by another process. I have looked this error message up and I have come across tools that supposedly help you unlock the process and then you can delete the file. However, I've tried two tools...

why do people (here) hate hillary so much?
