TRIM works with bitlocker fine with a SSD and will perform the same as if it was not encrypted (if you don't have a CPU with hardware AES it might be a little bit slower but it have to be a really old CPU for that) even if they can see where the data is its encrypted it won't do them any good...

noticed your cpu was between 20-30% your CPU was at 30% , are you using kerpaskey antivirus ? seems more likely a antivirus issue heat can cause them to slow down to a extremely slow speeds but that would push disk time to 100% when thermal throttling is happening on the SSD

Why are NVME no faster than SATA in games?

Once you have a sata ssd or higher your cpu limited when loading the game data (the game data files are big and reads are typically sequential) All that nvme will get you is 2-4x faster Install times (nvme benefits more the os or productivity applicationsdue to likely higher random access)

Normal PCs I make is 8gb, gaming would likely be 16gb unless streaming and gaming then it be 32gb (or productivity stuff)
