Can you plug the Chromecast into anything besides a TV? I use a projector as my main TV and it has a receiver with HDMI out. A bluray with a USB port is attached to it. Could I plug the Chromecast into the bluray players USB?
I have a Macbook Pro 13" Mid 2010 and I am getting ready to upgrade from OSX 10.7.5 to OSX Mountain Lion and I am wanting to do a fresh install. I am wanting to backup all of my data before hand though that way if I need something I can still access it. I am currently backing up to time...
The movies would all be standard definition movies. The xboxs would not be used for xbox live whatsoever.
Would it be possible for 2 xboxs to stream movies from 1 router? What if I were to get 2 cheaper routers and connect 2 xboxs and each router.
No wired isn't an option unfortunately, and using the current router isn't an option either. Using a PC to stream isn't an option either unfortunately. Thanks anyways, but doesn't sound like this will work.

I reseated the dvd drive connection. I also tried booting ubuntu from a USB drive and it worked fine. I don't have any other physical discs. I am going to try to have a friend stop by with a windows laptop to try and make a bootable USB drive with windows 7 on it and see if that helps.
I unplugged everything except for the DVD drive and now I am getting the error:
Reboot and select proper boot device. Or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.
Well a few days ago my computer shut down on its own. Upon rebooting it gave me a flashing underline after passing the bios. I figured my 150GB raptor finally died as it has been making tons of noise lately. I removed the raptor and replaced it with a 1TB Samsung drive. I put my windows disc...
I setup iTunes match a few weeks back, and I will be going out of town soon. I will not have cell phone signal or internet for 1-2 weeks. I would like to go ahead and download all of my music from iTunes match to my iPhone. Is there any way to do this other than downloading 1 album at a time...
