Surface Pro 2 is incredible

Was thinking about buying Macbook Air for my wife, but after reading this, perhaps I should give the Surface Pro 2 a look. Didn't like the short battery life of the original SP. Looks like it's better, but still not quite as good as the Air. Tricky decisions.

Alienware for Macbook Pro?

I'm a little confused- both computers have an internal SSD and HDD? I've never owned an Alienware laptop, but I have a Macbook Pro and there is no space for both in mine.

Document scanner home solutions?

I recently bought the fujitsu ScanSnap ix500. It's incredible. 50 pages per minute, 2 sided. I've had no problems with it. It's about $450, but it's worth it to eliminate all the file cabinets.
