DOOM3 Refresh rate 60hz ??

Thanks JBT It was as simple as updating the drivers (61.77) and using the "refresh rate override" options. I'll be happy with these new options. I'm glad Nvidia has included these options for gamers. No more nvrefresh and other refresh rate apps.

I'm running the 40.72 drivers from a while back. They have been the most stable and well balnced drivers with this ti4400. I do not have that refresh overide radio button. I'll try updating the drivers. I did try the read only suggestion. That works, except if I make any weapon changes in the...

wrong JBT, Everytime I launch the game, I use the menu option on the front of my monitor to check the Hz. & ->> fV = 60Hz everytime. And for those of you who can't see a difference... I can't understand that, it's toatlly obvious, especially if you're reading text. Adding vsync in the game...

OK I'll leave Vsync on... I've added the line seta r_displayrefresh "85" in the cfg file C:\Program Files\Doom 3\base. When I launched Doom3 it held at 85Hz. Looked 100 times better, however when I exit the game and re-launch it reverts back to 60Hz. Grrr.. I can't stand this dam...

So far so good with doom3, but I wonder if anyone has figured out how to run the game with a higher refresh rate than 60Hz. There's too much tearing going on right now.

The connection is just like most other dsl lines, straight through the Verizon/Speakeasy provided bridge. I'm 100% sure if verizon is PPoe or whatever. I can connect fine on all other computers through these dsl lines/bridges. Home #1 test: I've tried Laptop running WinXP on Verizon DSL...

Ok here's the deal! Random monitor/video blackouts. Now these blackouts only last a few seconds then the the desktop re-appears. It is so bizarre and I don't see any relation betwen the 3 combinations besides the video card manufacturer. Somebody else must be encountering these issues. 3...

How do I know if I buy Asus A7N8X Deluxe it will be PCB version 2.0?

I just ordered one from Googlegear.com last Thursday and it's PCB version 2.0. It is hardware related, and I'm pretty sure there's no 'bios update' that will bring it up to a new PCB version. The printed circuit board is permanent hardware.
