POLL: Whats the oldest chipset you have windows xp running on?, dose it have update problems?

AMD K6 2 450mhz with 56 meg pc100 (8 meg trident video) slow 4.3 gig drive works about the same, if a little slower, as win98se turned alot of features down couldn't wait to get home to my XP1600+ system though

Building new computer. Switching from AMD to Intel. Enough with the "I told you so"'s, and help. ;)

um I think you should forget about the o/c side of things mate I would buy the speed that you want or close to it. why you say? Because everything I buy I can overclock for great results everything my mate buys overclocks by 5% then crashes (either he is really unlucky or I'm lucky?) That way...

Argh, computer crashing again, HELP! Update: Still crashing, help!!!

a mate had a problem like that...it was a screw in the wrong place on the case mounting the Mobo to the case, we put one in the AT slot instead of the ATX and so every now and then it reset. still once we fixed it we found that his chip, a 1400 thunderbird, would and still doesn't run at...

Geforce 4 TI 4200, more memory better or faster ram?

I'd go with the 64 meg one Why? well if you think about the GeForce 3 card all having 64meg and the G2 having 32meg you can see that most, if not all games will only require a max of 32meg. The reasonn for this is that the makers of games need to produce for the masses. My VooDoo with 16meg was...

I got my 1600 XP from 1400 to 1596 with a cheap standard cooler just a FSB tweak, haven't unlocked mine

AMD and GeForce3 overclocking...

my Ti200 runs at 245/540 stable! no memory cooling and only standard chip cooling (Winfast/Leadtek) system XP 1600 (1400mhz) on Epox 8kha+, 2100 ram = 8235 on 1024res 3Dmark 2001 FSB= 133 no o/c (has been 145 in past thou) Last time I checked various review sites my score was better than all...

Racing game fans, try this one

Some of the cars and trecks are very average but the good ones are very good, some of the graphics are excellent! I have downloaded heaps, the links are plentiful and well worth following. If you haven't seem it running you must!

WOW WOW WOW This has only the sky to hold it down!!!!!!! a 6 meg download + heaps! of cars and tracks!!!!!!!links to links!!! This has so much potential and looks so good (esp for a free game!!!) Gotta go and download the Honda S2000 now...... check this out if you like to fiddle with your PC ...
