Windows XP MCE 2005 Issues

Use nLite and combine the MCE disc to a dvd. As for SP3, I tried to slipstream it but it didn't work. Window install and load fine but all of the MCE and few of the basic window program were missing.

copying recovery partition to new hard drive???

Use gparted and change the boot flag on the recovery partition to enable. Then restart normally and see it it boot to the recovery partition. If it work try the recovery(on you test HDD). Change back the boot flag to the windows partition after the recovery is done.

Download hiren's bootcd and burn to disc. Boot to the mini-xp then run the magic jellybean keyfinder.

XP pro won't let me copy files

Should be a ownership issue. In XP Pro (home version need to be done in safe mode), open folder options -> view tab -> under advance setting, uncheck "Use simple file sharing (Recommended)" -> ok. Then right click the drive that you want to change, select Sharing and Security... -> Security tab...

If you don't need to backup anything, you use the build in factory restore. Google your brand and model for the key combo that you need to enter the factory restore mode. Or you can try in safe mode or diagnostic mode, run rkill first from beepingcomputer to stop the virus/malware temporarily...

Issue - corsair tx650w

There should be a 8pin EPS/ATX 12V (4+4 pin) CPU connector that you can split, use that for atx_cpu. Look at the manual page 8 or 9.

Windows Install cant see my hard drives

Do you see the drives in BIOS? If so, try a different SATA header on the MB.

WinXP Media Center PC virus recovery problems

You can only use floppy with F6 to load driver for XP, CD/DVD won't work. If you don't have access to a floppy drive, use nLite to slipstream the driver to the XP disc.
