Filter OSPF routes between routers in same area

... What drebo says should work fine. Or you can manipulate the cost on Router B. You should not filter routes within the same OSPF area.

site-to-site tunnel not forming please help

I am not aware of any way to test this without directing traffic through the tunnel. You could include a new IP range in the access-lists and direct that traffic through to see if the tunnel forms, but otherwise, traffic will always follow the rules and go through the MPLS path as that is more...

I work in Cisco, but Palo Alto is on another level. Take the time to learn it and you will be surprised at what those boxes can do. About the NSS report and another test made a month or so later...

I agree with drebo, Palo Alto is the box you want. May not be as snappy as you'd like but it's one of the best firewalls out there.

DSL Connection drops ... a LOT

Not saying that this will fix your issues, just saying that it might. It was a Cisco 887 box if I recall correctly. Linksys are pretty much same as other consumer devices. Cisco boxes are mostly enterprise, even the "cheaper" ones. Can make a difference.

Help Me Understand Switches

Could be a number of things configured on the port, but no ports will "blow up". At worst you'd have to shut down the ports in question and then turn them back on to get the thing going again.

Your devices are not using a routing protocol. They route statically. Change the MTU on your computer or set the Netgear to bridge mode.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/900926 Look at method 3 in the above article about how to set your maximum MTU size. Ping your way to what the max allowed MTU is now (like ping -l 1476) and set the size accordingly. This should fix your problem I think.
