Ok I seem to have fixed the problem by enable all SATA ports in the bios. I in the GUI portion of the setup now.

SATA RAID 0/WinXP Pro Install Fail

I'm running AMD dual Opterons and have enabled STAT RAID 0. During the first part of setup everything works perfect but on reboot into the GUI part of setup I get a disk read error. Any suggestion. Thanks

SATA I & SATA II

When I purchased my two Hitachi SATA II drives I did not realize that they were bare drives so I had to by the data cable. All the ones in the store are labled for SATA I/150. I could not find anything proclaiming SATA II/300. Do SATA I & II use the same cable?
