    I had the same thing happen to me on a sandisk rebate. Actually exact same thing. I called belkin rebate center and i explained I could not have sent the wrong revate inasmuch as it was a compusa cash register printed rebate and they said, oh, ok, and sent it to me. No extra proof required.

    Why rebate?

    I periodically forget to send the damn things in. I found a $100 coupon in my drawer the other day. ouch!! My olevia /syntax lcd tv check took 8 months to get to me. My favorite though is when i found a 4 month old check, which i forgot to deposit, which was no good by then..
