Netbook Suggestions

Hey all, I'm looking to buy a netbook and I'm leaning towards the Eee 1000HE. I'm not in any rush to buy it so my question is, does anyone want to stop me? Is there something shinier coming out soon or something that I should know about or something that is just better for the price ($380)...

Old Desktop, New Mouse... Two receivers?

Okay, fairly simple scenario. I have the Logitech MX Duo (MX700 + Unknown Multimedia Keybd) and it has its receiver. I purchased the G7 today (as in its in the mail) because, among other reasons, it was on a major discount. Will I need to keep the old receiver for my keyboard or will the new one...

My hard drive died, should I be worried?

My dad suggested I do a low level format, which I did and recovered the data to the drive. Should I be wary of using Office or is it most likely the drives fault?

I agree, it seems like its the DNS too but is there any temp way (other than using a proxy) around this issue? I don't think the company can change ISPs now so anyway other than the slow anonymouse.com would actually be good... P.S. it seems its up again, lets see for how long...

Google goes down?

I'm stumped, this problem only ever happens at my workplace. I'm not sure what ISP but I believe we run on a fairly fractured T1 line. The problem that coems is google will occasionally randomly go down. or some part will go down... or i can only access it with a certain browser. for instance...

I noticed something like this when i was listening to it and... well... lets just say i got a wee bit angry at it stopping and acting like described above but it stopped working again in 5 minutes and hitting it didn't work. I'll give it a shot when i get home, maybe i didn't hit it hard nuff...

qalculate-{kde|gtk} issues
