    Athlon motherboard and Monster sound 2 conflict

    My athlon BVK1A procomp motherboard conflicts with my Monster 2 Mx300. when the sound card is in, applications start up to a black screen, while when the card is out... they run normally? I have no idera how to fix this.... any help would be cool.

    Procomp BVk1A Problems, Need help bad!

    I have a procomp BVK1A athlon board with a 700 processor, a voodoo3 3000,maxtor 6.4 gig hd, realtek ethernet card, and a Monster sound 2 mx300. Windows loads up fine, but if I try to go into any games, I get a black screen. I don't see the game makers logo, or anything, just a blank screen...
