OS 9 not detecting external usb hard drive

i've checked the applications utilities and tried /volumes in terminal. anything else that might be the problem/reason why it cant be detected? p.s. preference is checked to show hard drives on desktop

computer won't boot: physical memory dump/debug post

ran memtest on ram, passed through 7-8 runs. tried booting it up on each individual ram, still didnt work. I've tried resorting to repairing the install of windows, but the repair option isnt there. Ending up reinstalling windows, however while doing the ntfs format, it froze at 38%. I'm...

No idea what happened, i just came back from the gym and found that one of my programs were frozen"steam", i tried clicking it, and then my computer restarted. Motherboard didn't "beep" like it usually does when starting up, went to POST, wouldnt go past it automatically, had to press f1...

i am very desperate... this was suppose to be my backup, but then i got lazy and just used it mainly for school work... the worst part is, my assignment is due tomrrow and all my work is on that drive!:(:(

HD 1080p .ts files ->TVersity->PS3 = headache

well, im not sure if its TVersity, because a) i splitted the .vob's into files which were smaller than 4gb, put them onto a FAT32 external hard drive, and copied it directly onto the ps3 Hard Drive, and alas, 5.1 dolby digital but unbearable video stuttering.

just came back, as i let mkv2vob run with the x264 transcoding, all "failed" except for one. the one that did pass, upon previewing on my computer, audio is COMPLETELY messed as well the video, so i guess its back to square one -_- so far i think the .vob worked really well, the audio was...

yea it really is a TS file (even the file name says it is H.264+Dolby Digital 5.1Plus), i will try trancoding with x264 and using mp4 as output file extension, hopefully it works!

downloaded the said problem u mentioned thraxen, muxed the .ts file to .vob and splitted the parts to fit on the fat32 hard drive, my only question is, once on a fat32 hard drive, can it then be combined..?or will the 4gb file limit still effect it? it's a b*tch to have 12 seperate files just to...

yea, the file says its using h264 though, but on the ps3 it is an MPEG2:confused:
