Very loud. Obnoxious, even.
I got rid of it and got a 780 ti which was very quiet.
Of course I really wanted to try out AMD Mantle so I got rid of that too and bought a Sapphire Tri-X OC 290x.

Do you folks think that Mantle will improve 4K performance? I have BF4 @ 150% rendering; everything else maxed. Would be nice to hit 200% without a performance impact :p
Honestly I don't know. I have no idea what happened to it.
I was really careful and I'm very experienced with PCs.
Since it was the holidays I wasn't in the mood to fix it so I sold it as is.
Luckily I only lost ~$80 due to cryptocoin speculators :D
I had a 290x but broke it replacing the heatsink. I wanted to replace it cos it was too loud.
I take "not that loud" to mean that it IS loud but that for some reason you don't mind.
Is your PC in a noisy environment that hides noise?

lol nice post OP. I can totally relate to your situation. As others have said a 120 Hz monitor is probably going to be the next step you should look into. They are very nice for games - especially the ones with the light boost. Myself I have the Asus 27 inch 120 Hertz 3d monitor. The 3d effect...
Always look at the bright side of life.
It's pretty clear that this is only a big boost for 60hz monitors.
IMO this tech would have been more useful a few years ago.
It's nice to have but not a killer app for those of us with 120h+ monitors.
Why would anyone prefer 60hz IPS with gsync vs...
