I used DVDShrink to back up Sex and the City, but all 6 titles were in 1 VOB, so I shrunk them all at the same rate.
If DVDShrink lists your episodes separately, then you can split it up over 2 disks by selective compression.
For the first disk, keep the first half of the episodes at 100%...
Correct. I'm not sure why they have it on a dedicated button, and as a box to check after you click backup. I suppose some folks would like to analyze before commiting to the backup. I always do it as part of the backup.
I had one of these in a Mad Dog box, $80 after rebate and it was ok. It never made coasters, but the Memorex 4X DVD-R media only burned at 1X. Imation 2x DVD-R only burned at 1X. TDK DVD-RW 2x burned at rated speed though.
I ended up selling it to get a liteon. Dual format at everything...
I remember drooling over a 540MB hard drive but couldn't afford it at $345.00, so I stuck it out with my 340MB drive for another year.

This scanner easily works with WinXP. I've had mine for quite a while. I'm selling it though, as I bought the Visioneer 8920 USB scanner from Office Max for $40 after rebate. near as I can tell, it's the same scanner but with with a slide/negative adapter and a backlight on the lid, as well...

Slug? SLUG!!!! Whatdoya mean?!!? :D
It's a blazer compared to my old 2x Sony external, which cost $1000!!!!! (back when blanks were $15).
Yeah, I know it's a slug, but really, I'm rarely sitting waiting for it to finish up. I hit "write" and walk away. And besides, isn't the rebate just...
Alright, alright...I didnt' need it. didn't want it, but I'm a rebate ho so I bought the CDRW drive. 9 in stock in Burnsville, MN, 8 of which were Lite-Ons. My 8x4x8x Plextor has been rock solid, but time to put it in the kids PC. Picked up the $4 mouse as well, but forgot to check the RAM...
