Thanks OP! I think I'm going to OD. When configuring on the HP site, you can upgrade to a 5400rpm 60gig drive for $50. The standard drive is 40gig @4200rpm. If an option at OD, is it worth $50 to upgrade?

Dell 1704FPT or Samsung 730B

The 1704 comes with a height adustable pivoting stand and USB ports. I think thats a big plus for the 1704. USB ports are nice, especially if your case is buried under a desk. July is the end Dell's financial quarter, so might be a good chance of getting one for under $200 in the next...

If you have 4 memory slots is it possible to mix difference size modules and still be dual-channel? Example 2X256 + 2X512 = 1536 ? Thanks, L.J.

Duel Video card questions

Thanks for the responses. Kensai, are u saying 1 card can be Ati based and the other Nvidia? That would be great because I know where I can get a PNY FX5200 for $29.00 Snowman, you could be correct. I'm trying to elimnate the obvious first. The computer is a P4 2.8 with a gig of ram...
