XP-90 installation

The K8 mounting bracket on the XP-90 can break somewhat easily if you push it with a screwdriver (yeah, I was pretty stupid). If you ever need to remove it try to unhook the hinges instead.

You'll have to check how much RAM/swap your video editor uses to know if 2GB will help.

Word Help ASAP!

You can type for three hours without hitting Ctrl-S religiously? I think Word tries to auto-recover documents if you open your backups.

The TweakUI XP Powertoy lets you change the open dialog shortcuts, but it didn't work for Word 2003 here.

Bittorrent killing my latency

BitTorrent opens up hundreds of keep-alive connections with other peers. Just turn your client off when gaming and get used to the few seconds delay on web pages (that's the price you pay for piracy :)

How do I tell if this LCD is 6bit or 8bit?

It says: ? Color Systems 16.2 million This almost certainly means 6-bit dithered to 16.2 million colors.
