I forgot what I used to get with the stock at 2.4ghz, but I think it was a lot lower than 44/60 idle/load. I think that's really high? Anyone else? Anyway, I replaced the heatsink and the fan. The fan is sucking air away from the HS, is that right? Anyway, I'm running this:

I have a this really loud fan and a ThermalTake RPM adjuster I just bought. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work. I plugged everything right, I know, because I checked four or five times. Anyone else have this problem?
I bought a Thermaltake RPM fan speed setter for my vaccuum cleaner (Vantec Tornado). I plugged the tornado in, I plugged the setter in, and I plugged the fan into the setter. When I go to adjust it though, it doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem?

I'm sure, someone out here plays counter-strike. I think these new drivers conflict horribly with the Direct3d on it. I get about 25% more lag and about 25 fps vs the 99 I usually get. Bad nVidia Bad! Anyone knows how to fix this? I rolled back, but I really would like to use the 40s.
