And before I even installed the OS I upped the FSB to 200 from 166. No problems at all. runnin for a few ours under normal load at ~47c with stock HSF. Not too bad I fI do say so myself! does anyone know of a way to up the FSB by 1mhz increments using te Asus A7N8X-e DLX?

well it's ordered, went with the sempron 2500 and the asus A7N8X-E Deluxe w/7 1gb of Corsair VS pc3200. should make for a fun system to play around with overclocking and the like.
I am in the market for an inexpensive monitor and noticed this one on newegg. Anyone have any expereince with this particular monitor? If I don't get this guy I will robably stay real cheap and purchase two cheapo 17" CRT's but I wouldnt mind a 17" LCD to be honest!

I purchased a RIO Karma and love it. It is a bit on the flimsy side, but has handled being dropped a few times on the tread mill. I PM'ed at circuit city with a Walmart ad for only 250. 20 gig and sounds great!

Yeah I do have an Enermax 300w PSU on the side, so to keep it cheap I think I will stay with the Powermax. How's rosewill, I seem to be seeing that name alot lately.

oh yeah, one reason I didn't want the mobile cpu was that they were all OEM's and didnit come with HSF already. I wanted to do this as easy as possible so I didn't have to study which were the best or quietest etc...too late for that now :P

I was considering going with the asus A7N8X-E instead but what i have been reading some people like the shuttle also...
