I am about to get the case and the mb. My concern is that the DS3 mb only has 2 fan connectors, one for the cpu and one for the case. The TJ04 has two case fans, front and back. Is this an issue I should be worried about?
Okay. Well at my local retailer, the OCZ Platinum and the Gold are only ten dollars apart. Thats why I opted to get the platinum in the first place.
And in a sudden change, I have decided not to get the Sapphire X1950XTX, but rather the new Nvidia 8800GTS vidcard!
Now given this situation...
It's actually going to be my cousin's xmas present since he still runs a P3 and can't play anything except CS 1.6 and Warcraft 3 or older.
One more question. I want the MSI mobo because if I get the X1950 XTX, I can possibly in the near future get another one and run it in crossfire. Or do...
Okay. I'm going to do a little reading on the Gigabyte motherboards first. And if you guys recommend getting lower voltage DIMMS, then perhaps I will get the OCZ DDR2-667 Gold 2gb kit which is rated at 1.9V
Now help me out because I'm somewhat confused. There are five Gigabyte 965 MBs...
For a moment let us forget the price difference between the two. Which one would you recommend? The Samsung 244T or the Dell 2407FPW? I would primarily use the monitor for movies and games, then maybe some PS occassionally. And oh by the way, I do know I'll need to build a fairly powerful...
Very tough to find a new 6800 Ultra. I generally don't prefer to get used cards.
Now I never really ran benchmarks on my old 9800. But just by reinstalling BF2 and Call of Duty 2, I felt the huge difference. I kept the resolution still at 1024x768, but now I can turn on 4X AA, which I...
Right now the 6800 GS is selling for $215 at my local retailer.
I am helping someone upgrade their computer.
They have P4 2.4ghz
512mb (pc2700) ram
and a 9800 Pro
I am wondering if the 6800 GS AGP will be significantly faster than the 9800 Pro?
Apoppin, you the MAN!
And quick question for you, should I get a:
Sapphire x1600 512mb AGP Pro ($185)
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ATI-Radeon-X1600-PRO...08QQcategoryZ40158QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
or a BFG 6800GS 256mb AGP ($230)...
The resolution is 1280x1024 on the LG that I have. I do plan on buying a widescreen lcd, perhaps the Dell 2005fpw that should have a native res of 1680x1050.
I want to get a new computer so that I can play Oblivion on high resolution, 1280x1024 or better with most graphic options set to high. I don't want to OC. I just want a fast machine. Any suggestions? I've seen the recommended system specs for Oblivion, is that really enough?
Can you...
