Oh believe me, I'm familiar with the Canon AF clicks, but this is more of a "clack" that is totally out of place and weird sounding. I may try and hit OD to exchange it just in case. I do think it's defective though...good thing they do the B&M/ WEB store as one for return purposes...
Mine came today, but it's making this odd clicking noise when it tries to focus. Sounds to me like the motor drive for the lens may be screwed...or maybe I'm just paranoid- can anyone tell me if theirs makes a clicking sound?
Oh, don't get me wrong, it's a fantastic price, because these are some fricken heavyweight glasses, and they do look damn nice filled with Guiness. I was just trying to save ya a few $ on shipping.
I picked up a box of 4 of these exact glasses on sale at Kohl's B&M for $6.99. You may want to see if your local store (if there is one near you) has them.

I fixed it. Well, I didn't, but the IE6 restoration tool did. Apparently the file extensions list was corrupted...all I did was run the utility and it fixed it, an oversight on my part, as I should have done that in the beginning....
<< When you save it, put the little pulldown menu underneath (which should read JPE files) to "All files". Then save it as a .jpg
If it's on JPE files then it will automatically add the JPE extension. >>
tried that too, no luck.
I appreciate your help legendary...
If anyone feels like IMing...
<< Well it's not unusable, you can still change the extension back to .jpg, or you can change it while saving. IE does that sometimes though, I've seen it happen, just need to change the extension, or try to open it and set a program to open it so it's exactly like a .jpg. >>
