Rubbermaid Container as a Case?

If static is a big concern, why not coat the plastic container with some kind of acrylic? People use acrylic/plexiglass cases, and static's not a concern there. Just apply a couple coats, wait for it to dry, and mount your components (not in the sexual manner, of course).

*Another Price Change* Kingston HyperX PC-3000 DDR 256/512 $51/$86.00

According to Kingston's datasheets (pfd), the rated voltage is 2.5 +- 0.2. I'm rather surprised that it couldn't handle 2.8V, but some memory just doesn't like high voltages (I believe OCZ's Winbond chips is one of them? - correct me if I'm wrong here, but they work best at 2.7V).

HOT AS HELL! WD 200GB 8MB $128 AR & After BVG + S/H (AMEX BVG Only, Temporarily DEAD)

According to Amex's BVG guidelines: Any items that are purchased from a store that already has an established lowest price guarantee program will not be covered under Best Value Guarantee. Has anyone ever had trouble applying a BVG to something purchased at say, CompUSA or Best Buy?

IPAQ and Jornada Hotsync Cables Free AR at Staples

Nice find! However, when I search for the rebate for the IPAQ hotsync cable by SKU/UPC, I come up with two results for the Jordana hotsync cables, and none for the IPAQ version. What's up with that?

As promised PC2700 thru PC3700 $68 and up

I'm interested to see if the Winbond PC3200 CAS 2.0 chips are really 4.5 ns. Has anyone received it and removed the heat spreaders to verify the information, as well as report if they meet the specifications? TIA!

The OEM at Fry's are pretty heinous - a friend picked up a 512 MB stick of DDR2700, manufactured by Lai, that wasn't even able to do above 140 FSB.

As per dpreview.com's article analysis, SanDisk CF are among the slowest in reading and writing speeds. Just a thought.
