Yes the cd is clean and scratch free. I even used a different copy. Also i do not have raid setup on my comp. All my drives are non raid.

new build issue

new build issue

straight from the beginning with just the cpu, board, memory, vid card it still wont boot. Then i did some reading around. My cpu box said that its a 04a and 04b compatibility, but my board says that its a 05a and a 05b compatibility for the cpu i dont know if that matters because ive done...

motherboard and cpu compatibility

Hey pple. I have a problem I keep trying to put in a p4 3.0GB into a MSI pn4 sli motherboard. But the damn thing doesnt want to boot. I i did some digging. Does it matter if the P4 cpu is for 04a and b compatibility boards and the board is for 05a and b motherboards.

new build issue

Im building a P4 3.0 with a gig of ram, 2 dvd drives and a 80g hd with 2 6800 vid cards. I tried using a not so nice 500 watt psu and it would turn off and shut off within 10 secs. then i bought a thermaltake 450 pure power which did the same. then i tried taking everyting out and putting it...

today i tried to put another dvd rw drive in. doesnt seem to work as well. same thing happens. Both are totally new drives out the box.

dvd drive dont wanna work

Hey everyone. Im fixing a comp for someone. I just installed their new dvd rw drive becuase there old one doesnt work. I set the drive one cable select along with the dvd rom. I dled the drivers, and it shows up on the os. The thing is that everytime i try to have it read a cd it just doesnt...

the front audio and usb connections.
