Firewall in SuSE linux 8.2

I got the firewall configured and running in SuSE 8.2, without a problem, using YAST. Now the next part may sound stupid, but I really liked when zone alarm lets me know on my windows box that it has blocked or logged a network intrusion or other event. Does anyone know if SuSE can do that...

Getting Suse 8.2 Pro. Does it............

WAIT!!!!!!! If you wait a couple of weeks, you can get version 9.0 pro. supposed to be released October 24 in the US, was reportedly released last week in Australia. You may want to save your money and get the newer version.

Why dont Intel,IBM or AMD start making GPUS?

Mandrake vs Red Hat vs....?

IMHO I have tried Red Hat 8, Mandrake 9 and Suse 8.1...I like Suse the best. Most polished, best system config tools, many things pre-installed (i.e., linmodem drivers for HSF and mwave modems) and ALSA sound. Costs some money for the full versions, but worth it.

Which linux install works best on laptops?

I would also have to say Suse, but I vote for 8.1, with all of the updated software, etc. I have it running on my thinkpad 600. I think the ALSA sound system as implemented in Suse does a better job of configuring the think pad sound systems. And as an added bonus, Suse comes with the Mwave...
