Quick question for pros, i didn't read the whole thread, sorry. I'm thinking of getting NEC 2190uxi or 2490wuxi. It will be used for gaming too and i'd like to know how good are they for that? I don't expect the speed of fastest tn panels, but is it just good enough? Some comparisons with...

That means that you see only last 2? That's pretty bad. And how is it possible to fix that without getting everything else washed out? How does a calibrator do that? On my LG, with gamma value at 0, i can see it all the way down to 4. Of course, when i adjust gamma i can see them all, but...

I looked and found that i can buy HP LP2065 in my country, and that was quastionable, so now my choice widens between LG l204wt and HP lp2065. Xtknight, you said in recommendations that HP is not that great with dark tones. What did you mean by that? Can you compare it to 20wgx2 and lg l204wt...

Thanx a lot, xtknight! I see that you have a lot of questions to answer, but i'll ask one more: How good is lg l206wt (or 226wt which you have, they're similar) with shadow detail? If that's good, i'm taking it. Maybe some quick comparison between lg and nec? All this "thinking" is not...

And one last question: How does lp2065 pass dark detail tests? I read somewhere that you can calibrate it for good shadow detail, but then for normal use picture looks washed out

And i want to know a few things about HP lp2065: 1. Is there really a panel lottery with it (i want only s-ips) 2. I saw that xtknight put it on the first place for office work (that means it's really easy on the eyes, right?) 3. How good it is for gaming?

Thanx, you really helped me...so you think what you said even with panel lottery in mind? If so, i think i'm gonna get l204wt. 1. viewing angles aren't problem for me 2. i don't do any kind of professional work (i'm talking about colour) 3.i spend many,many hours a day in front of monitor...

Tomorrow i should get LG l204wt or Samsung 205BW. I'd like to ask xtknight and the rest of you guys to tell me what do you think about those 2 models. It will be used for absolutely everything, gaming included, pro work excluded, so either would be sufficient, but which one to take? :)...

OK...time for buying has come, so... 20wgx2 sound just perfect for me...i'm pretty sure about averything except high brightness, since that's highly subjective thing to talk about....but most of you say that it calm to the eyes, and i have to belive you :) , because i can;t see the monitor...
