I actually got a popup asking me to login after I posted here. :| I got in touch with customer support and gave them my key, they said they would disable the popup from their end. We'll see. Pretty ridiculous having to contact them over a popup box... a "don't show again" checkbox would be...

In regards to Bitdefender, I haven't had any popups asking me to log into anything.

Server 2008 and RAS question

I'm rusty with RAS so I'm asking this here. If I recall correctly in order to configure RAS on Server 2008 the server must be setup as a domain controller/DHCP server and with AD right? If Server 2008 is setup as a part of a workgroup without a AD/DHCP server then RAS won't function..correct...

Anyone else still running Core 2?

I know NFS is not a technical showcase but I play NFS:HP and Shift 2 with everything set to high on a Q9550 stock clocked with a budget GTX 550Ti @ 1920 x 1080 and it stays at 60fps. I have vsync enabled. I also have 4x AA on. I don't really play games much these days but when I do everything is...

Keep wondering. This wasn't the only station that reported the cops(SWAT) grabbing a guy in the woods wearing camouflage pants. I read a few reports that said the guy they grabbed out of the woods was yelling "he didn't do it" to witnesses. Then a few hours later nobody mentioned this guy again...

Best and worst CPUs since 1998

I'll go with the Core 2 Duo and Quads as some of the best. Particularly the Q9550. I'll go with the AMD K5 series as some of the worst. I'm not a fan of Celerons either. I had a K6III 450MHz processor that I liked a lot back in the day. I ran that for a while. I also had a few K7 chips...

No brainer prediction, Romney gets nominated only to lose to Obama
