Hey, does anyone know if you can use more than one coupon at once? If so, how many? I'm guessing you can go to the same location everyday until the promotions over, right?
Do 3rd party controllers work the same way as Microsofts official ones on the PC? Will drivers still work with them? I notice they were cheaper and I'm thinking of getting one.
The S3 and DS3 are almost identical. The DS3 has solid caps that will give it a longer life, I think 4 or 5 years plus and they have different ethernet controllers. Other than that they are the same and even overclock the same.
I had the S3 board too before it got fried. Check your divider settings, make sure you set it right. And I also have the same ram and CPU:Q Make sure your divider is set to 2:2. That's the lowest setting you can set it. That patriot ram is really good, you can get it up to 420MHZ.
Link Depot's would be $8.74 with shipping and Thermaltake would be $12.95 with free shipping. Anyone know what that other cable that comes with Thermaltake does?
I just got all my Conroe parts and I found out that my power supply connector is not compatible! This is making me angry! I've been waiting a long time for this, but there is always something holding me back.
The power supply I have has 20 pins, but the Gigabyte P965-S3 motherboard has only...
So are these 2 boards exactly the same aside from the solid caps thing? The way I'm reading it is that the DS3 will overclock a little better? Is that true?
I'm looking to build a cheap Conroe system and I'm wondering how these boards will overclock. The one I'm looking is a Gigabyte GA-945P-S3. I'll buy either a E6300 or E6400 to go with it and some DDR2 800. What's the highest front side bus speed can you get with the 945 boards?
