I'm sure there must be some physical reasons why one cannot create a VCD for a DVD. If that were possibe, it would seem that the new VCD could hold 6 times more video. What is preventing this from happening?

It must have autosensing as it seems to detest it with or without a crossover. I've suggested contactin dlink, although it is easy enough to set it up w/o them.
Not trying to nitpick, but I'm not sure if a crossover cable is needed. The first time I set it up, I was told to use a crossover but the second time, I was told not to. I don't have one on it right now and it seems to be working fine.

If you are refering to the 614+, OD will price match to CompUSA. Just bring in the ad. I just printed this page and brought it in. $59.99. Better than the 20 off 75 because you can go to the b&m and get it in an hour instead of waiting for it to ship.
That sounds like a problem with CompUSA, not with me. When the employee says the computers say 11 so they must be somewhere and the other employee says the computers are always wrong without considering the possibility that the computers might be close to right, the employee needs to be reminded...
