802.11b isn't good enough?

Yeah new routers do have increased range and performance, especially over a mr814 v2 which is, what...2 years old I think? 802.11g has a better range than b, So you should be able to see improvements with a g router.

CRT vs. LCD

From my experience LCD is DEFINITELY a lot easier on the eyes. In the lab we have CRTs only and my eyes get red and tired after staring at them for less than an hour. With my LCD I stare at it for more than 4 hours at a time and I don't feel much strain. And IMHO I don't think it's a matter...

How to make an external HDD work with a Mac?

I tried using disk management (compmgmt.msc) but it would not let me format it with FAT32, mine is also a 250 GB drive. What should I use to format it with FAT32?

How to make an external HDD work with a Mac?

My friend has a external HDD formatted with NTFS, so it's not working with her Mac. If I just reformat it with FAT32, would it work? Also, I heard that it matters between formatting on Windows with FAT32 versus formatting on Mac with FAT32. Thank you for any help / advice!

To my understanding, XP guards the Admin account from ever being deleted, afterall, if the admin account is gone you pretty much can't do anything on the computer. But my friend somehow "lost" his admin account, and his computer now does not have any admin accounts. Accessing the user...

Old BIOS won't recognize more than 8 gig of HDD?

Can I get more details about how to use fdisk with a win98 floppy? or is it pretty self explanatory once i get there? I tried the LBA stuff before I posted the questions and they did me no good tho.

New computer build wont start up

Doubt it's a faulty mobo or cpu, those don't happen a lot usually. If your certain that you installed everything correct (CPU aligned correctly blah blah blah), check for any shorts because that's what it sounds like. Is your mobo installed with spacers in between the case and mobo etc etc...
