I despise ebay sellers who overcharge on S&H

I recently won an auction for a laptop cpu fan. $5 plus $7 shipping. I thought the shipping was high, but auction said it would be shipped UPS ground, so I was OK with that considering the advantages of UPS (tracking, insurance, etc). I get ship notification, and it says it was shipped...

Looking for a image uploading/captioning solution

I work at a newspaper. I'm looking for a solution for a problem we have with correspondent submitted photographs. They all come be email currently, some of which are not labeled or do not have caption information. When they do have captions, we have to manually open them up, copy whatever...

Something for your computer repair toolbox

this thing was a real PITA working with a 3.5" drive. Windows xp would not recognize the drive most times. Just as an unknown USB Device. There are a couple tricks that i read on the net - plugging in the molex power after the computer in on and the usb is plugged in - but it still took about...

How do I unlock/vonvert a 6200 in vista?

The board is able to be converted based on very recent comments on newegg, however that is through rivatuner which can't be run on vista. Anyone?
