I'm just wondering this and I haven't found an answer anywhere, but with all the talk of LCDs now, have they really gotten better in the past 2 years? What I'm most concerned about is the colors, and more specifically the gradients. On my Dell (ugh..) laptop the lcd doesn't seem to support...

4 disk vs 2 disk raid-0

I'm building a file server for about 4 computers to feed off of. Mostly is going to be an archiving/streaming kind of machine for video and multimedia files. It will probably end up doing a lot of video encoding also, and will eventually be playing multimedia files to a TV. My question here...
