Thanks for all the comments.
Ease of use is also important. I bought a Elan-vital case before the mania over cases (modding and such) started. It was one of the first to try to integrate a tool-less design. I don't think they accomplish it. I had a heck of a time installing certain things...
Which is the better case?
Both has removable everything. Well thought out design. Similar looks.
I'm leaning towards the 6077 because it has the audio ports up front. Biggest advantage that the Kingwin has is its price. Newegg has the 6077 for $121 while the Kingwin is $90.
I haven't bought a case in 3 years. Yesterday I looked at what Newegg had to offer. Over 600 ATX mid tower cases!
Some of things I was hoping to find,
- removable motherboard tray (preferably the sliding type)
- midtower form factor
- audio ports up front
- completely tool-less assembly for...
Exact same problem. I had to restart with non pickup option. Once I had the order placed, I called up my local OD and confirmed they had 3 in stock. I then called up 800 OD number and had them set reset the order to pickup. They had to delete my original order and create a new order number...
Only one of 5 has shown up on rebatestatus.com. #36445.
I called up the rebate people, they're not Dell people just a 3rd party company handling Dell's rebate. Rep tells me that they should have received all my rebates by now. There was no "We're swamped with mailed rebates, call us later"...
For listening to a portable music source (ie without an amp), I went with the Sennheiser 497. It was recommended by headphone.com. They also recommend the Grado SR60 but the 497s are better looking. These are the best headphones with low impedance (32 ohms). It's easier for a walkman to...
This is a pretty good deal.
The (rebadged LiteOn) Memorex 48x24x48 for $29.90 at Staples is a better deal in my opinion. A number of people have OCed it to 52x24x52. The only con is that you need to pricematch it at a B&M Staples to get the deal. In-store, they're labeled at $79.99...
I second this. Short of the Mac G3 case, these are the most functional cases around. The aluminum cases may be the darling now but for my money, these are better.
I bought the IRiver IFP-180T.
It's got everything the Hiro has plus FM tuner and the ability to record FM stations. The one thing it doesn't have is the formfactor. With the IRiver, you need the additional cable and software to transfer data.

I've got to give my props to Dell customer service. I was expecting the worse case scenario. A small claims lawsuit.
But I got a really nice CSR and she was able to find my original confirmation with the order date. She said she couldn't send me a new packing slip or invoice since it was...
Don't get me wrong. You're absolutely right about the shipping. If ground is specified (I specified), the only way they can ship air is after they get buyer's approval. In fact, if you took this to small claims, you would have a very strong case, provided you specified ground (some didn't)...
