1080i is NOT 540 lines per second. It's 540 lines drawn 30 times per second and another 540 lines drawn 30 times per second. It alternates on which lines are drawn each 1/60th of a second but they are all drawn.

it's a standard microatx motherboard case with what looks like fullheight slotcovers... so just about any graphics card and any microatx board would fit.
Saw it locally 51" CRT Projection. Not sure if this might be national since it wasn't marked with a clearance tag or manager's tag, just a sign over it. Should be good for a gameroom or football

Cheapest samsung 19" period is >$200 after rebate on the egg. IF you need a widescreen, good name and cheap.

RAW meaning essentially unprocessed/uncompressed/uncompensated on brightness etc. Basically if it's a setting in the camera that doesn't correspond to something physically changin (aperture etc.) then it hasn't been done to the photo. That would include brightness/ contrast, compression,color...
7200.8 is widely known to have reliability problems... check some review sites like storagereview.com. That's the caveat that comes up in every 7200.8 thread. It's also widely assumed that's the reason 7200.9's came out so fast after 7200.8's.
it can be a useful tool because it'svery portable. If you ahve a ups with serial or USB output it probably can at least at one moment tell you how much juice anything is using by computing load percentage... if you need to calibrate check out a lamp or a LED light.
