Question on gaming laptops

I would recommand acer v3 571g. It has a quad core intel i7-3630qm (up to 3,4 ghz),nvidia 640m with 2 gb vram and 8 gb ram. It costs around 800-900$ depending on your location. It's certainly not the best gaming laptop out there but its the best horse power for the buck you can get and the best...

Ok I found the answer, it basically tried to solve "difficult" mathematical problems that are stored in the blocks and the difficulty is adjusted from time to time. But I still don't get why this need's too much computing power and especially gpu power to solve those problems and to be honest I...

Steer me in the right direction? Laptop advice!

Today I got a replacement stick and so far everything works perfectly. Memtest shows 0 erros and I've ran across 0 artifacts so far! I've tried the 2x 8gb sticks on my v3 571g as well and they work just fine : ) Thanks to every who replied to this thread!

New Samsung 840 Pro FIRMWARE is out

Before: After: I can't see any noticable effect other than system boot which decreased by 2 seconds!

The first 1 caused a system crash after 5 mins. The second 1 is being tested for the last 20 mins but not done yet...

The system reboots right after memtest starts testing! Does this mean that the ram sticks are faulty? Or that my system doesn't like 16gb? Or there isn't enough voltage? HOW CAN I TELL??
