Is Dual Booting really worth it? Need help with a dual boot problem

Can not get my plextor to work as ULTRA DMA under win2K

Did you short the jumper on the back of the drive? Undocumented by Plextor, but it worked for me.

Codec / Plug-In to play RM and Quicktime in WMP

I'd like to find this too. I finally had to install Real Player 8 back on my computer again - my wife was taking an on-line defensive driving course which required it. What a bloated, spyware laced, systray imposing, registry bloating piece of sh!t it is. 5 mb of crap just to play streaming...

Is plextor still the best?

My first burner was a Yamaha 4416S. It gradually died (a slow, painful death) after it was 18 months old (I paid $400 for the damn thing). My opinions of Yamaha are tainted by this experience. I now have a Plextor 10/12/32A (paid $180). Yeah, It's IDE, but I've never had a buffer underrun...
