Help me find a Mobo that fits my needs!

Is that right? I thought the BIOS on the mobo has to be able so see the full size of the drive, then the OS has to also be able to see it. You may be right.....I may be crazy! Anyone want to chime in on this one?

Help me find a Mobo that fits my needs!

Okay.... I'm in need of putting together a cheap PC to use as an imaging station for TiVos and DirecTiVos. Since everything for this is run off of a Bootable CD and executed with linux, I don't need anything fast (CPU). Can anyone recommend a mobo that I can do this with? I need it...

Shilala, that is one bad a$$ rig you've got! The mirror ball mod is just sick! I think you're talking about the VGA cooler rev 3: http://www.newegg.com/app/View...=35-186-110&depa=0 http://www.svc.com/vga-rev3.html FYI, I think that SVC is cheaper than Newegg (GASP!) on the ATI...

Finished installing ThermalRight's XP-120..

I really should have gone with the XP-120....I ended up going with the ThermalTake Silent Tower, and though it does the trick, it is sooooo tall that it comes dangerously close to my case side. Maybe I'll swap over to the XP-120 anyways... Thanks for the good post!

Help me choose, Hyper 6, Zalman CNPS7000B-AlCu or Thermalright XP 120

Man, I wish I'd know about the XP120! What an awesome HSF! I just bought the Thermaltake silent tower to cool my Prescott 2.8E in the new Dell 400SC. Though it's quiet, the mounting was a beeeeeeotch!
