    Wheres the P4E's overclocking?

Go for a Northwood. I have a 2.8 on a IS7-E and got those results.

Will it be the fastest AMD FX system ever?

 SilverBack, you are the man!!!

    Happy with my 2.8 SL6WT

Do you think I might have hit the FSB limit of the mobo? (I bought it used and the northbridge fan was replaced with a (big) cooler without a fan).

Can't seem to overclock by more than 5mhz FSB...

I guess you have a strange BIOS setting problem: - go catch the latest IS7 BIOS (that's the one I'm using - flash your mobo and clean your BIOS settings (by moving the CMOS jumper to the other pins while the PSU cable is unplugged for 5 mins) - load default BIOS settings - leave RAM settings at...

    overclocking from windows?

As far I remember none of the Windows ocing tools was able to change the FSB divider. This automatically means that you won't be able to make bigger OC's from within Windows. However, since most mobos now have the possibility to lock the AGP & PCI, only the RAM settings would be your limit...

    Happy with my 2.8 SL6WT

    No offense, man. I'm just to happy with my little 2.8. BTW, does anyone need a Gigabyte 8IGX (i845G), 1.6A @ 2.14 (stock voltage) and 512MB Samsung DDR333 @ DDR354 (2-3-2-5) combo?

    Happy with my 2.8 SL6WT

Forgot to mention that the system was totally stable at the above speed (Prime for a few hours, memtest, 3DMarks...). And, obviously the 2.8 D1 I got is better than some M0's (like jhurst's):

    Happy with my 2.8 SL6WT

Well, the dream is over. Highest what I got stable with 1.525V actual (1.575V in BIOS) is 3.7GHz at a 264FSB. Just for testing purposes I haven't tried the max of the RAM, so I did it with a 5:4 FSB:RAM setting. However I have updated the results on MadTom's 2.8 SL6WT overclocking page...

    overclocking

Well, every chip has their own limits. Some small guide/overview for the 3.2GHz processor can be found here. I guess you should be able to get more than 3.7GHz out of the chip. However, your MSI board is not so bad at all; what is your max. on this board?

    Happy with my 2.8 SL6WT

Yeah, seeing results from other people I was really amazed to see that mine worked so well with default voltage. BTW, the voltage was fluctuating from 1.424 to 1.475 (let's say that's an 0.05 undervolt). Since I'm at work at the moment, I will try to squeeze the processor out in the afternoon...

Well, I haven't tried to see the maximum of the chip, but was pretty amazed that it worked so good out of the box...

    Happy with my 2.8 SL6WT

Hi everybody, just bought a new processor (and RAM) and got to 3.5GHz very easily. The system is memtested, about half an hour Primed (while doing antivirus at the same time...). No crashes, all default voltages (the mobo is undervolting!). To be honest, I haven't tried to get the maximum...

Teletext & Nvidia WDM on a VIVO card

Hi, having a Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 with VIVO functionality and the latest WDM drivers 2.20. The Nvidia drivers are 53.03 2000/XP drivers. I would like to know if anyone knows about a program that could be used for using teletext on a combination like that (I'm taking the TV signal from the...
