Anyone have a T420s or T430s? Thinking of buying one

No fan noise here. I do also have a 2011 (non retina) MacBook Pro as well which I enjoy very much :D I got this so I can throw in a few drives and run a bunch of VM's using vmware player to test around before I buy workstation.

I picked the t430s because of the ease of memory upgrades without having to remove the keyboard, and the weight difference. I was originally looking at the x230, but decided to go with the t430s as i wasn't sure how i felt about a smaller screen.

I picked up a t430s, and put in 16gb ram and an SSD in the HDD slot, and ultrabay. I may end up getting a battery one day for the ultrabay however. So far I like it with no complaints

g and m has some great crab cakes, i believe they ship them with some dry ice packs or something to keep them cold.

Bank of America sold my mortgage to a company known for shady practices.

Most people who seem to be complaining on that site don't pay their bill. As long as you pay you will be fine.

Need a good automobile accident attorney in the Bay Area.

Getting into camping; need a tent!

We bought a l.l. bean tent a few years back and its great. However if you go that route be sure to call them, we did and got the previous years color at a huge discount.

wtf: new AE jeans

I usually buy those AE jeans when I get their 40% off coupon, makes them nice and cheap :D But I've never gotten a pair with the pockets sewn shut.. sounds like someone was not paying attention at their little sweat shops..

Employers not paying employees for time spent booting their computers!!

reminds me of my company laptop.. dell 620 with pointsec.. from a cold start its about 10 minutes until it's usable. I popped in a 512mb stick of ram I had laying around, it's XP with a core duo + 1.5 gig of ram. In the evening when I pack up I put it into hibernate, that way if I get called...

supermarket express lane

I get them on my personal phone, and then my work cell.. and now my work deskline :( Totally annoying, and they fake the caller id alot also and change the number. last time I did a reverse lookup, it was some lawyers phone number in oklahoma.
