Just had to replace my gigabyte z68 because of this. My board just started out of the blue after I did a successful bios update.
Gigabyte bios drivers are destroying there boards.
Just way to many people with this issue for gigabyte to keep not taking it seriously.
Ya being introduced to asrock now since my 6 month old gigabyte decided to go boot loop on me.
At this point I would stay away from anything with gigabyte in the name, and they start taking the issue seriously
Pretty sure this mb is completely toast.
Ordered an asrock and hopefully be back up next week.
See if I can get the gigabyte warenteed since its less then 6 months old.

Been reading on this some more. Noticed they keep mentioning dual bios. Not sure if this board has that quickly looked at the box didn't notice it, then the specs do mention it.

I have another PSU but its a 20 pin power supply PSU and the mother board is the 24 pin power supply.
Just for giggles I still tried it and it does the same thing.. But I have no idea if the extra 4 pins are needed for startup the Mother board or not.

Well got everything in and Hooked up my new pc last night into the late hours of the morning. LOL. Got windows all back up to date started installing my programs again. Only running This CPU at its default settings.
Just did a stress test with prime95 and my core temps never went above 49C...
Oh I will feel i can not play any of my games at the highest settings at this point.

Gah the other upgrade option always drives me up the wall. Priced out some AMd Chips and some I5 chips and basically I can get a AMD X2-4 3.5 and a decent MB and ram for about 3 hundred bucks.
