I installed, started to do a file recovery and my netbook crashed... Now this time around it's telling me I need to register, haha. Does esupport limit you to one recovery attempt before you're required to purchase the full version license? Checking their website now to see if I can register for...

I hate college

Oh there's entry level jobs alright. Problem being there's 2928347271 people with 5-10 yrs of experience recently laid off that are ALSO competing for those entry level jobs... Wait til you graduate, it gets worse, us new graduates simply can't compete in this job market with no prior job...

I recently accidentally deleted a directory containing several gigabytes worth of folders and files using Shift+Delete on one of my rigs... Now, I'm familiar with several different software tools that can recover deleted files, (I've used Recuva most frequently), however none of them are capable...

Time for a new video card?

Yeah, it does sound like your card has some bad RAM. IIRC, there are some apps that are designed to test your video RAM. Maybe someone else knows of one in particular that would be good for you to use.

Aerocool AeroRacer Pro with 400mm Side fan

I actually used to have to do this with my old Athlon (Socket A) rig. During the summer, I'd just take off the side panel and set a box fan blowing into it. Without that fan blowing full speed, I'd have stability and crashing issues, even at the stock clockspeeds and voltages I was running.

BFG wants to send me a card - inferior to mine

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that the email is simply notification that they're processing your rebate, not that they will be sending you a graphics CARD. It seems that they mixed up the rebate, however, as they're processing one for an 8500 instead of an 8800. I'd wait until they send you a check...
