You really need to bring that oc down to like 2.6 until you get a new HS. @ 60c I'm surprised that it is stable running super pi. Don't even try prime95, with those temps you are really going to cause damage on that cpu.
AND 45-47C IDLE IS NOT GOOD AT ALL
sorry to tell you but that stepping is not a great overclocker.
Set your memory to 180 divider and up your cpu vid special to 109% leave startup vid default and cpu volt to 1.40 your total volts should be around 1.55v. then let it go to windows, I doubt you can get better than 2.65 with...
Dude dual prime stable means a lot longer than 35 minutes, try 8hrs prime at least. nice chip those are been reported with very good overclocks over xs forum as well.
good luck
what motherboard are you using ussually cpuz undervolts your motherboard readings, and the last pic show 1.56v you might want to look again as i've never seen a bios that is set to 1.52v and cpuz reads 1.56v. either way nice overclock.
The thing is that he is not CPU limited at all. He will upgrade CPU to find himself in the same situation. I had similar problems until I replaced my video card and went with sli setup :), no more slowdowns or hickups. Do not waist your money on a new CPU as this will not solve your problem. Do...
anything faster than 2.6 will not give you a better gaming experience, this has to be your video card, i have downclocked mine to 2.3ghz to prove this theory (I read this also on another site) and right on the money no difference in gameplay, it's all about your gpu and ram hdd combination.
You need to read the overclocking guides, but to help a bit, try to set your memory timmings to auto and go higher on you fsb, make sure you divider is at 166 then get a64 tweaker and read the settings then start tweaking your memory for better performance.
once you have this cpu definately wont be a bottleneck.
to prime them all you do is make two separate folders of prime95 and start them both and set affinity to each core. guide is on dfi-street forum
good luck
opty 170 all day long, 2 meg cache for 70.00 less = priceless, in ocing, you will do better than a 4400 at stock volts. lots of people including myself went to 2.6@ stock volts prime 24hr stable.
good luck
those temps are factoring the offset reported by a proggy called central brain identifier my offset is -6c, meaning that my expert is reporting 23-24c at idle you add the -6c and whalla 30c at idle same as load temps.
They are high, I got my opti and running at 2.75ghz with 1.52v and idles at 30c and load at 44 dual prime.
I would check the hs mounting and maybe you need a bit more as5, maybe a little air pocket got inthere.
good luck
Your board as mine and ALL other expert owners report 8-10c under real temps. mine is reading as I type 33 under dual prime load, not likely it should be 41-43c real temps
