Skyrim AE Why is product version 1.0.00?

Thanks I was curious because SKSE had a 2,2,2 version for 1.66.30.08. I am using vortex for mods. On Sept 15 2022 something happened and many mods stopped working. Anyway, I cleared Vortex of all mods and will try again. Thanks again

Skyrim AE Why is product version 1.0.00?

Skyrim AE exe. is version 1.66 40 08 but the product and launcher exe is version 1.00.00, not upgraded at all. How do I correct this? I do use SKSE from Silverlock. Right now, I have done a clean re install, deleted all mods, but product version has not changed. Steam download,

Help!How to mod Witcher 3???

I have modded many a game, including witcher 1 and 2. However, I wanted to use the Witcher 3 Mod Manager (as opposed to Vortex) and have no idea how to install it. I have followed instructions, watched videos, and cannot find any installer. There is a W3MM.exe, inside the folder, but all that...

Budget PC Gaming is dead! [Byte Size Tech]

Just me. Playing on a Predator Helios 300 laptop. Not exactly old tech, but not cutting edge either. Anyway, I do not see a lot of new games I want to play...happily playing "old" games like Witcher 2, 3 (with some mods), Skyrim (modded), and lots of other "old" games (Metros, Far Cry 4...

Always used arrow keys for every FPS game I've played with no problems at all as long as I can rebind most of the game keys which I've done. I just find keyboard options in W2 awkward and non intuitive to say the least. However, no problems using a gaming mouse and side buttons.

So true...gaming mouse the way to go...no problrms at all with action and quen sign almost a cheat, especially on higher levels. (W2)

I guess my main gripe is the convoluted assignment of KB keys. I never used a gamepad, yet found every FPS game I've played so far (for 20 odd years) easy to rebind KB and many stock settings were obvious ie scroll fwd bk for next weapon, spell, or whatever, RMB fire LMB use alt weapon, spell...

Terrible MKB control options in Witcher 2,3

IMO, Witcher series KBM controls are terrible. Witcher 1 was ok...I could rebind any key to whatever. I prefer arrow buttons for movement and right side of keyboard for other controls. I do not understand why CDPR insists on limiting keyboard/mouse rebindings, though later editions do allow...

where is the GAME exe in Witcher 1??? GOG download

Hi and thanks for the replies. GOG games are on drive D under Games. It's OK since the W1 crashes are few and I can live with that. Oh my...I just found the witcher exe in D drive/Games/ GOG/Witcher/System /witcher.exe However, for now, I will leave it alone as crashes are few.

Help with 4gb fix please

I have the 4gb fix for Witcher 1, but do not know where to place it in the Witcher 1 files.GOG games version. I cannot find game exe...Maybe I don't need it??? Please let know exctly where to place this fix. I am playing game now, but experiencing intermittant crashes. thanks for your help...

News Microsoft purchases Bethesda Softworks in industry-changing acquisition

Totally agree....However, I still haven't played original Skyrim that I ordered years ago from Steam, though it is downloaded on my computer. Did play Oblivian, but will probably play again. Have so many unplayed games, I really don't care that much about this deal.
