Legal? Selling PC with Windows but no CD

Once you have a license for XP it doesn't matter what CD you use to install it. Just download a copy of XP Home from the net and use the license that you already have paid for. It's perfectly legal

what causes tweeting of a mic in front of it's speakers ?

Why monitors (the speakers facing the musician) don't feedback is that the mics used by musicians are unidirectional (takes sound from one direction) so they don't recieve the sound from the monitor which is located behind the mic.

How should I connect an external HD: USB 2.0 or FireWire?

I'd use the USB2.0, because it's backwards compatible with USB1.1, which means you can use the drive anywhere (albeit much slower on USB 1.1)

never mind, firing squad is right....The new Athlons draw on the 12V line which means that this PS that I have is useless. time to sell it to my dad :)

Power Supply Wattage Draw Question for Athlon XP Cpu

Just wondering which lines on a power supply go to supply the voltage on an Athlon XP Cpu (t-bred) specifically. I know that the P4 draws on the 12 Volt line. Does the Athlon use the same line or does it use the 5V line or the 3.3V line? I'm asking this because I have a 330W Enermax thats...

CRT 19" Monitor [which from this list]

tomshardware had a review on 19" flatscreen CRT monitors a while back.,..search for it. At least you'll be able to find something out about the monitors. I'm currently running a LG 915FT+ and loving it, all the benefits of a Aperture Grill, but no annoying wires. See if you can find that one

What's the name of the cable needed to give sound to the TV (while using tv out?)

thats a 1/8" stereo plug to a RCA connector audio wire. you can get them at radio shack or any other electronics store

Help with Alpha 8045

I'm not buying or trading...I'm asking if someone wants to give (meaning FREE) me an extra washer they aren't using. Or if they know of a source where I can get these, as I don't have the washer in my hand (i'm getting it shipped from elsewhere) I can't tell if they have any different molding...

I'm actually buying it used...and getting a good deal on it.....but it doesn't include the small washer and the Epox8RDA+ which I'm buying this HSF for takes the small washers.. Thanks for the bump though

Hey, Just wondering if anyone has any extra small mounting washers for mounting the Alpha 8045? If so are you willing to part with one? I'll send a envelope and postage over if you'll give me one washer. Or does anyone know if they are just standard nylon washers that I could get at...
