Question Best water cooling for my case

I have an OLD i7 2700K. It's in a Corsair Carbide 300 case. The old Corsair i80 water cooler is no longer working. I mean that it sits at 0 usage and all my cores are at 45C + for no reason. In the past they were all at 25c+ etc. I am TRYING to find a replacement OMG. I cannot get a straight...

Using MakeMKV and Blu-Ray Movies

Wow lots of great help here. I had never even heard of Ripbot. Also in regards to using two drives... man I am slow.... I somehow figured it would bog down my system if I were to access two optical drives at once but I will for sure try that since I have a second BR drive on my other computer...

SSD quesiton

Are SSD's better at having multiple applications running on the drive so doing read requests or write in multiple orders? I am not sure I am explaining myself really. For instance, if I am reading from my WD 640 GB drive and also writing to it.. think unraring an ISO that is on the drive so...

Yes I did not make that clear. My bad. The original OCZ Core using the Jmicron controller was horrible at installing apps or just writing to it (random writes). It was however very good at access... it was of course way faster than a regular spindle drive as long as made sure of setting it up...

The Bliss of SSD!!

Agree, the OS drive needs little to no space (well ok 30 GB drive)... the game drive is a 120 GB which is WAY more than I need. Everything else goes to storage on a "regular" ol' spindle drive. Honestly you dont need much unless it's a server of some sort I would think.

Video card, HDMI and 1920x1200

Hi all, I recently hooked up my computer using an ATI 4550 HDMI (has DVI as well) directly to my 28.5 Viewsonic 1920x1200 monitor via HDMI cable. NO MATTER what I do or try, whatever setting, the resoltion is all messed up. The ATI drivers realize my monitor's native resolution is 1920x1200...

What do you do with the wires when wall mounting a TV?

ohhh...ohhhh... ok well then no sense in cancelling. I might just pick up a Summit for my HTPC for its main C drive and see how that works. Nothing wrong with that. Edit: Rcpratt, your sig has a 160 GB G2 Intel SSD drive. Are you loving it? I take it's your OS drive?
