This is now available online as well. You're right, they didn't have any in Milwaukee but I was able to order one for instore pick-up from the Racine location.

Which wire/pin monitors fan speed?

I have an Asus A7N8X Deluxe and a Vantec Aeroflow T.M.D. fan/heatsink. The problem is that the mobo apparently does not provide enough current at start-up to spin the fan, so I had to use a 3/4 pin adapter and plug directly into the power supply. Now I can't monitor the fan speed so I want to...

A7N8X and "g" bios and cpu detection

Yes, the "g" BIOS is known to have problems. Go up to the 1002.001 beta or down to a lower version than your current one.

I'd say go with the PC3200. Even if you don't use it now, you'll be happy when you don't have to buy new RAM with your next processor.

A7N8X @ 200FSB! This motherboard rules!

How do you get 1.825v? I have the same board and same BIOS, but the highest my Vcore shows is 1.75.

Which motheboard brands have you tried?

ASUS - Just got my first one and love it so far. ECS - A few minor bugs, but great for the price once I worked them out. Would not recommend for beginners. MSI - Very stable and good tech support. Had board go dead after 8 months and got an RMA with one week turnaround. Shuttle - Have used...

Asus A7N8X Bios

No I have not been able to run at 200 MHz FSB. I was able to POST at 10 x 200 but froze at the XP load screen and could boot to windows at 9 x 200, but it was not stable. I am running at 180 x 10.5 @ 1.7v right now. Will probably try higher again later, but my attempts at 200 have failed so far...
