Thanks for a great response. In terms of performance, yes, the games that i have played lately (Max Payne 2 and Call of Duty) have worked flawlessly even at high resolution. I guess it is all good. Thanks for the response.

Hi Guys, How do i know for sure if the vidoe card (ATI 9700 PRO) is running at 8X AGP. My motherboard (Asus P4S8X) supports 8X AGP. When looking under Advacnced Display properties in XP, it says that AGP is at 4X. In the BIOS, 8X is enabled. All the latest drivers installed for 9700...

Hey guys, i just ordered a Dell 8600 with nvidias 5650 chip. JUST realized that it got blown out of the water by the mobility 9600. Which manufacturers make a Centrino laptop with the option of 9600. I heave searched through a few and could not find one. Im fairly new to the laptop market...

Switch IDE DVD ROM from PIO to DMA

THANKS so much. It worked. I went as far as deleting the DVD Drive and rebooting but never thought about doing the same with the IDE Channel. Everything is working great, thanks again.

Switch IDE DVD ROM from PIO to DMA

Hey guys, In desperate need of help. I need to switch my DVD ROM from PIO MODE to DMA mode for faster read/rip speeds. For some reason it will not switch to DMA mode. Any suggestions out there? THANKS SO MUCH IN ADVANCE.

IPAQ 5455 Synchronization

If anyone has any experience connecting the IPAQ Pocket PC to the PC via USB Cable, please let me know what the procedure is to synchronize the Pocket PC with my PC. For some reason, after i install ActiveSync, the software does not recognize the IPAQ which is sitting in the cradle. Any help...
