Well, i didn't knew there were boards unable to run with a single slot. If fact, your board's manual (downloades from www.asus.com) specifies in which slot you should put your memory in sigle dimm configuration. I'm not a computer geek and i may be wrong, but if not, you should try. It would be...

Hi DBaron. That sounds like a faulty ram to me. Since you got two modules, try using only one of them in your test (test one at a time). If one of the modules comes out clean in the tests while the other doesn't, you may have found the problem. I hope that helps... Good luck!

Hi guys! Does anyone knows of a software that uses the modem to receive calls? Kinda of a phone, but that can also register the caller ID.

Software for Taxi center

Greetings fellows, does anyone knows of a software that works with: Receiving calls and also getting info about the location of the call? It's for a Taxi central, and the client wants the main computer with a software that can do this. Any suggestion will be appreciate, thanks!

annoying high-pitch noise coming from pc?

Try to stop the cpu fan from spining and check if the noise is still there. Try to hear carefully and check from where exactly that sound comes from

Games make monitor sleep

serious problem with 3d games

Can you tell me wich games were you playing?. Try to test several games as well as 3dmark, aquamark and other stuff, just to rule out aplication specific problems. Do you have no problems at all working at windows?

I think you are doing right. Your problem is VERY ODD, the only extra thing i can sugest is a clean installation of WinXP (try it in your second hard disk). If it works the problem was merely of software, then backup your files and format then reinstall WinXP in your primary HD. If it keeps...

Try to check the color correction in the display properties, set it to default. Did you tried another monitor with your machine? Have you put your video card to work in another system to see if it's workin' OK?
